5 more days until my birthday! My TWENTYFIRST birthday!! I'm so excited! Too bad my birthday falls the weekend before finals week. Oh well, I guess I'll just party the weekend and figure the rest out after that!

Hey,

Today is the first day, in SIX DAYS, that I don't have work. I am exhausted, and really want it to be Winter Break... NOW. That means, the quarter is over, my 21st birthday, christmas, + new years happens. I'm turning 21 in about 16 days. Still planning this to do, maybe a party, maybe a bar.

As for school. It's really complicated because sometimes I feel that sometimes the less time I put into my design projects, or rather, the less time I think about the design, the better it turns out. For my Typography class, we're still working on our brochures. My topic is decon architecture. For my visualizations class, we're supposed to create 3 posters for a Alfred Hitchcock poster series. For this project, I wanted to work with flat colors with flat graphic silhouettes. Theres only supposed to be 2 sets of copy, the name of the poster + "alfred hitchcock film festival;" Take a look:

Hey guys, I can't wait until my birthday! It's coming up- december 6 + i'm turning 21!! Anyways, I also can't wait until winter break. I have so much to do before that happens, incluing this project. Canada Trip

Hey guys!

Two weeks ago, my cousins and I went to Canada for a day-trip. It was really fun! We did alot of things including visiting our favorite filipino bakery "Goldilocks", ate at this nice bar + grill called "Milestone", and ordering some siopao from china town. We walked down Robson street and I noticed that the skyscrapers there were really high and intriguing from the angle I was looking. I decided to take a picture and edit it on photoshop.

This past summer 2008, my family and I went all around asia- Hong Kong, The Philippines, and South Korea. I had a great time and took alot of pictures. Take a look:

Something New

To start, I am Jerome Bediones. I am 20 years old. I am a visual communication design student at the University of Washington in Seattle. I work as a cashier at IKEA. I am filipino-american. 

I started blogging a LONG time ago on xanga, which hardly anybody uses today. After glancing quickly at my xanga, I can tell that I've grown up alot from then until now. But don't get me wrong, I still have a certain weird/jerome-ness quality about me =) 

What are my expectations of this blog? I want to be able to record memorable and significant moments in my life. We'll see how it goes.
